I heard this the other day. |
I think it's so important to remember this during these current times. |
We have B2B (business-to-business), |
B2C (business to customer), |
B2B2C (business to business to customer). |
AI (artificial intelligence). |
But when it comes down to it, it's just H2H (human to human). |
In the end of the day, |
It's still people selling to people. |
I'm all for automation, |
I'm all for using technology. |
And no doubt one day, |
It won't be humans selling to humans. |
But right now, right here, practice that skill. |
Practice what it takes to be a human: |
empathy, |
listening, |
giving the client the space to talk, |
smiling. |
Because in a world where everyone has all the information, |
where your product differential isn't really a difference |
because we can build products incredibly quickly, |
It will come down to the relationship. |
What the other human thinks of you as a human, |
That's what it will come to. |
That's what it will be. |
And who do humans like? |
They like good humans. |
So you wanna be a great salesperson? Be a good human. |
And that'll make you great at selling B-to-B. B-to-C. B-to-B-to-C and AI. |
Let's do this humans. |
Humans forever. |
