Ned Ludd.

Leader of the Luddites.

Luddites, wanted to stop technology.

They felt it would take their jobs away.

This was in the 18th century.

They smashed Looms. (No, not that Loom)

Weaving looms.

That replaced people.

They worried there would be no jobs left if the looms and factory machines did all the work.

What would we all do?

Hmm.

Seems we figured it out.

But today.

AI.

Surely we will all be out of jobs.

What will we all do?

In 4025, we will look back at AI today.

And laugh at how basic it was.

Laugh at the worry it gave us.

We humans will always find new ways to be us.

To do things.

I didn’t want to work at Facebook when I was born.

It didn’t exist.

I still don’t today, but that’s a different matter.

We will create new ways to be relevant and creative.

Every day in sales, I see new tools.

I am old school.

But they are amazing.

I am learning, looking, and listening.

Sales will never be the same again.

But it has never stood still.

I worried email would kill sales.

I grew up only having the telephone, my shoes, and a pen.

But today.

I am still relevant.

So learn the new tools.

Be relevant today.

Don’t be a Ned.
